Pre-Order Policy

At Miake BD, we offer selected products on a pre-order basis so customers in Bangladesh can access authentic Japanese skincare, cosmetics, and beauty items that may not always be available in ready stock.

Please read this Pre-Order Policy carefully before placing an order. By confirming a pre-order on Miake BD, you agree to the terms and conditions described below.

1. What is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order is an order placed for a product that is not currently available for immediate delivery but will be specially arranged, sourced, or imported for you.

Pre-order items may require additional time for sourcing, supplier confirmation, international shipping, customs clearance, and local delivery.

2. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery times for pre-order items may vary depending on product availability, supplier confirmation, shipment schedule, and customs processing.

  • Estimated delivery time: 10–25 working days

In some cases, delivery may take longer due to supplier delays, shipping disruptions, customs clearance issues, public holidays, or unexpected international logistics problems.

3. Full or Partial Advance Payment

Some pre-order products may require full advance payment or partial advance payment in order to confirm the order.

A pre-order will only be treated as confirmed after the required payment is successfully received.

4. Price Changes

Pre-order prices are generally confirmed at the time of order. However, in rare situations, price adjustments may occur due to:

  • Supplier price changes
  • Exchange rate fluctuations
  • Shipping cost changes
  • Customs or import-related charges

If there is any major pricing issue before final confirmation, Miake BD will contact the customer first.

5. Cancellation Policy

Because pre-order products are specially arranged upon customer request, confirmed pre-orders usually cannot be cancelled once sourcing or shipment has started.

Cancellation may only be considered if:

  • The product becomes unavailable from the supplier
  • Miake BD is unable to arrange the item
  • An exceptional case is approved by our support team

6. Refund Policy for Pre-Orders

Refunds for confirmed pre-order items are generally not applicable, except in the following situations:

  • Miake BD cannot source the product
  • The item becomes permanently unavailable
  • The order cannot be fulfilled for reasons beyond customer control and approved by Miake BD

In approved cases, refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

7. Delivery with Ready Stock Items

If your order includes both ready stock items and pre-order items, Miake BD may:

  • Ship all items together once the pre-order arrives
  • Ship separately depending on product type, shipping arrangement, or customer request

Additional shipping charges may apply for split shipments.

8. Product Availability

All pre-order products are subject to supplier availability. Placing a pre-order does not always guarantee final availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, Miake BD may offer a suitable solution such as:

  • Refund
  • Store credit
  • Alternative product suggestion

9. Delays and Liability

Miake BD is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • International shipping issues
  • Customs delays
  • Courier disruptions
  • Supplier stock shortages
  • Natural events or other unexpected circumstances

However, we will always try to keep customers informed and provide support throughout the pre-order process.

10. Order Updates

Customers may contact Miake BD for updates regarding their pre-order status.

We aim to provide timely communication, but exact arrival dates cannot always be guaranteed for international pre-order items.
